David’s Pharmacy was honoured with the prestigious award of New Zealand Community Pharmacy of the Year in 2013 and 2014 – and we have strived to maintain this high standard ever since. In 2020, we won the Westpac Northland Business Award “Northland Business Champion” for Small Business.

David Postlewaight
David graduated from The Otago University School of Pharmacy in 2001. He spent his first year as a qualified pharmacist in New Zealand before travelling to Ireland.
Whilst in Ireland he managed a Pharmacy and Beauticians in the beautiful city of Limerick where he was lucky enough to meet his future wife. After 5 years David returned to New Zealand with his wife to begin his pharmacy ownership journey. This plan was solidified early in 2011 with the decision to open a pharmacy in David’s home town of Kamo . The pharmacy has grown from strength to strength as has David’s family.
He has been lucky enough to have 3 daughters who keep him on his toes. When not working David can be found running the streets of Kamo or indulging in his passion for anything out on the coast.
Carley Tobin
I was born and bred in Kaitaia, and after getting my pharmacy degree at Otago University, and travelling on an overseas adventure, I was excited to settle back here in beautiful Northland.
I am married to Richard, and we are raising our 3 cool kids here in Kamo. We keep busy most weekends with sports commitments, friends and our 2 dogs.
My free time is spent at the beach, camping, swimming, and fishing with our whanau.
I am a people person who is always keen for a chat, and I am passionate about pharmacy and the services we can offer to improve the health of our community.
